Garlic Sesame Shrimp with Curried Mango Sauce

Serves: 2-3
Time: 30 minutes


Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce 
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pound (16-20 count) shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
 
Directions: 
  1. In a large bowl mix shrimp, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, rice wine vinegar, and olive oil. Stir until shrimp is evenly coated.
  2. Marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Spread sesame seeds onto a large plate and dip each shrimp into the sesame seeds. Set aside.
  4. Preheat broiler to high. Place shrimp on a foil lined pan and broil shrimp 6 inches away from broiler, about 2 minutes, turn and broil on other side until shrimp are golden.
  5. Serve with Curried Mango Grille Sauce.
